Over the last few years we have run a number of Diocesan courses at St.George’s – one of the locations in the East of the Diocese.
Courses have included the year through Following Jesus course in 2012-13, two shorter Developing Discipleship courses:
The little way of St Therese of Lisieux and From desert to cloister in 2014, and the first new Engaging Christianity course: Responding to Religious Diversity in Autumn 2014.
Now a further Engaging Christianity course is released and we will be first to offer this in the Diocese: Engaging with Christian Spirituality. This is the first of two courses on this theme, this one focussing on Classic Sources. The two Spirituality courses have been written by Canon Mayes, the Diocesan Spirituality Adviser and are thoroughly researched and intriguing. This first course will start on 21st April 2015 (usual time and place: 7.30pm at St George’s Parish Room – come through the church) and will run for 7 weeks on Tuesday evenings. There are a further 3 sessions which can be agreed by the group if wished.
These courses involve no assessment or prior knowledge and cost just £15 for the materials which goes to the University of Chichester which produce the courses for the Diocese. You can get more information or register for the course by calling Wendy Greenan at Church House 01273 421021 or emailing her at email@example.com
