From the Easter vigil: Christ yesterday and today, the beginning and the end, Alpha and Omega, all time belongs to you, and all ages. to you be glory and power through every age and for ever. Amen

Lord, this Lenten journey has given me hope and a little understanding of myself, a little light on the path. Having spent Lent so often in the company of other Christians of many denominations, I know more clearly how this Anglican faith is precious to me, and how much the fellowship and partnership of denominations matters to me and to you. We are unequal and unfitted yet all fixed on the same Lord. On this great day in the Christian year help us to share your love and your kingdom and your grace. Amen

Yesterday I was crucified with Christ:

today I am glorified with him.

Yesterday I was dead with Christ;

today I am sharing in his resurrection.

Yesterday I was buried with him;

today I am waking with him from the sleep of death. (Gregory of Nazianzus 389)
